Hmmmm…. everything is permitted now if one is willing to take the consequences. What about believer’s freedom verses–that puts a whole new approach on this. My friend from India who is atheist explains to me that in his country atheist are more moral because there is no God to save you or to blame. What happened to free will? We do it–then we my get consequences or we may get grace.
I Corinthians 6:12 Everything is permissible for me but not everything is beneficial. Everything is permissible for me but I will not be mastered by anything.
With this freedom one still may become enslaved by actions one freely indulges. 🙂 Pick your favorite because He may give it to you abundantly.

I would say: Where there is no authority, everything is permitted. Matthew 16:18.
