Congratulations Aaron, Ava, Brady, Jensen, and Luke on completing instruction in Holy Communion and celebrating this important day with your families at St. Paul La Grange.
Instruction included learning about Passover, the Last Supper and the Sacraments. We tasted wine, wafers, and grape juice. We learned about crossing ourselves, receiving communion, drinking from a chalice, intinction, chalices, patens, flagons, respecting communion practices in other church traditions, and more. We baked communion bread, did some artwork, and painted chalices.
