I suppose it is not unusual for two apostate churches to have a dialogue. ELCA and the Roman Catholic Church share many heresies together, and since the Bible is not relevant to each of these bodies, such dialogues will be productive. More compromises will have to be made in order for communion to take place, but the prevailing leadership will rise to the occasion.
