Pastor David Buco was installed on Sunday afternoon, December 3, as Pastor of Faith Lutheran Church in Dickinson. Due to a fire at Faith, the installation was held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, where they have been worshiping and shown great hospitality.
Just behind him, to his right, is his wife, Pastor Alma Buco, who was installed at Messiah Lutheran Church in Cypress Texas one day earlier. David’s parents are members of St Paul Lutheran Church in Baton Rouge.
Faith has been through the wringer, experiencing a fire, due to arson, during a pastoral interim. Faith, also worshiped at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church after their building was flooded in Hurricane Harvey. We are grateful for the friendship of these two congregations.
