While their sanctuary is being renovated, Holy Comforter is meeting in their Fellowship Hall. Since this was fall kick off in the 50th anniversary of the school, they held both services at tables that were set up for the big barbecue lunch afterwards.
It was a pleasure to see so many friends aand colleagues. Pastor Barb Bartling, Marsha Seale, Rick and Christie Janacek, Linda Utecht, Wade Wallinger, Danielle and Duane Endsley, Pastor George and Claudia Brookover, and so many others.
Like many congregations, they have been struggling to rebuild after the pandemic, but I believe today they may have exceeded their pre-Covid average. There was much energy, joy, and laughter in the room.
The sanctuary is close to completion.
