Today we are celebrating Advent 2, the 10th anniversary of Iglesia Luterana San Gabriel, and La Fiesta de la Virgin de Guadalupe in Alvarado Texas. Region 4 bishops are gathered to celebrate with them.

At the end of the service, the Virgin was processed out for the parade.
Here’s a time lapse video of my walk of the entire parade, almost a mile long.
Following a 5.9-mile walk, the weary group of 350+ people arrived back at San Gabriel after 3 hours and 13 minutes. The rain kept some folks away. Many years they have had 400+ horses.
After the parade, San Gabriel provided a free meal of roast pork for all who wished to attend.
