I’m so grateful for this faith-full Conference of Bishops. What a strong group of evangelical leaders. What deep love for the church I am experiencing from these colleagues. What Scriptural and Comfessonal acumen is here. What respectful dialog. And spiritual maturity. I wish everyone in the ELCA could be in this room. I pray every synod and congregation might operate with the prayerful and loving deliberation that I see in this group.
