On this Veteran’s Day I remember my father-in-law Thurman Warne, who flew bombing runs over Germany in WWII. After the war he went on to get married, have two children and four grandchildren. He died in 2009 while I was at the Churchwide Assembly. We miss him and will always give thanks for him.
